Hello, Everyone!!!!

I haven’t been here for awhile, so I decided to come back today to post a random blog. The lord has been dealing with me to get every area of my life together. This is including finances, education, spiritually, emotionally and whatever else you can think of.  This has challenged me to take a deeper look at where I stand in life. So looking in the mirror, I found that alot of the reason’s I’m in bondage in alot of areas is because of the decisions I’ve made. Now I have to find ways to get myself out of this situations. I decided to do things a little different and to take it one step at a time. March is the month for me to study and to focus on my finances and I would like to challegne to to embark on this journey with me. My model is the proverbs 31. I read that passage of scripture today and she was a wise woman and I believe we can learn alot from her and be on our way to financial freedom.

Books I recommend

The Marriage Map

As a long-time observer of relationships, I can tell you that, like people, marriages also go through different developmental stages and predictable crises.

via The Marriage Map.

I was just doing a study on marriage and few scriptures that I read upon was first Genesis 1:26-28 Then God said, “let us make man in Our image, according to our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in is own image; in the image of GOD he created him; male and female he created them……..Then in the last verse it goes on an say that God blessed them and told them to be fruitful and multiply to fill the earth and subdue it and to have dominion over everything else….. This is the purpose of marriage. Go ahead and fill free to correct me if I’m wrong.

I also wanted to say that that word them in the above scripture sound like ONE….he created male and female he created THEM….Why did he create THEM??? To fill the earth and subdue it, to be fruitful and multiply…..To be fruitful and multiply can mean alot of things but in a marriage it is simply becoming intimate and reproducing (how else would we fill the earth)??? Intimacy is becoming one with your spouse…. that’s why adultery is dangerous!!  1 corinthians 6:16 (read it for yourselves)…. I went on and look at Ephesians 5:31-32 For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.. as I was doing this study a vision of two hands clinched together so tightly becoming one fist….Matthew 19:6 goes and says “so then they are no longer two but ONE flesh. Therefore what GOD has joined together, let not man separate”. Coming together as one….. nothing can break or separate the two….NOTHING, But God has to be the glue that holds two together. And it kinda remains me of the love GOD has for us nothing can separate of from the love of christ….. Nothing and that’s how a marriage should be.

Hello, Everyone

I have stepped away from facebook and from taking phone calls because I was going through some things and I needed anwsers, another reason is in January the lord pressed upon me to start a fast for 30 days, during this time the lord has brought my husband and I closer to one another. This past weekend my husband and I were able to go out of town without our children, I love all five of my children but, since we became ONE we have never had alone time and we’ve been married for three years so, over this weekend we were blessed to attend the “Sweeten your Marriage” retreat in Topeka,KS, and I will tell you it was one of the most awesome experiences ever, this past weekend has been the best for US. God has allowed some healing to take place in the both of us and also some forgiveness to take place. Our eyes were opened up to where we fell short and where we need to pick up the slack. I am realizing with this time away from facebook that I have more time to do just the small things that will help my marriage, spending quality time is very important in any marriage I don’t care how long you’ve been married TIME is crucial. My husband and I were able to eat, sleep, walk the mall without any interruptions and it was well needed! Just getting away from it all has allowed me to have a CONVERSATION with my husband, I didn’t have the worries of cleaning my house, changing a diaper or cooking a meal and I really enjoyed it. In life we have alot of things that can distract us from the most important things in life and sometimes getting away from it away will help you to get things in proper prospective. Relationships are very dear to our heavenly father especially the one we have with him. Taking a step away from facebook, checking emails every chance you get, friends, phone calls, whatever it maybe to get things in proper order, God doesn’t want us to neglect the very things he blessed us with for the sake of our businesses, our social networking sites, Even when it comes to our first most important relationship with our heavenly father, trying to fit him in amist all the other things in life will not work GOD has to come first!!
